Director Madhumitha has dared to deal with a delicate subject in her 'Valamai Tharayo'. She deals with a dilemma of a girl to choose between her lover and husband.

While Parthiban is plying the lead role as the husband, Madhumitha, who has been searching for a leading hero to handle the role of the lover, has roped in Srikanth.

It may be recalled that Parthiban turned down the offer to play second fiddle to Srikanth in 'Kana Kanden', despite serious efforts take by director K.V. Anand.

But Srikanth, who has taken it in his stride, has accepted to play second fiddle to Parthibhan when Madhumitha approached him with the request.
