Guys and gals of Rajni fans hold your breath for shooting for big-budget Robot kick-started yesterday morning in one of the A/c floors of AVM studios… It may look more surprising since no prior announcements were made about the film's launch. As a part of shooting, photo shoot for the film was held where chennai's famous fashion and portfolio photographer G. Venkat Ram fixed his lens for Rajnikanth… It is also mentionable that he took care of photo shoots for Sivaji. Arriving exactly to the shooting spot was Rajnikanth in his stylish car of Chevorlet Tavera and Shankar in new stylish BMW car..

Venkat Ram along with his crew had the things arranged early in the morning and for your excitement around a dozen wigs were designed right from United States by hair dresser Banu and superstar had to appear in different blazers…

The shooting of Rajinikanth's magnum opus Robot has been started yesterday with a photo shoot at AVM. It was the first photo shoot for the film by famous Chennai fashion and portfolio photographer G Venket Ram exclusively focused on Superstar Rajinikanth.

Rajini came to the shooting in the early morning to the studios AC floor and later the team of Shankar joined with him. The producer of Robot, Ayngaran Karunamurthy also attended the shooting. Apart from Rajini's make-up woman Bhanu, who was reason for Rajini's young looks in Shivaji, there are two more make-up specialists going to work in this film as consultants to give young and different looks to the Superstar.

Hot news on 'Robot' is coming out almost everyday. The latest news on the mega budget movie is that Arjun will be playing an important role in this film. It may be recalled that Arjun had acted in Shankar's 'Gentleman' and 'Mudhalvan' which were super hits. Moreover, it is not the first time Arjun acting in a movie with a senior star. He has earlier acted in Kamal Haasan's 'Kuruthippunal' in a very significant role. The nature of Arjun's role in 'Robot' is yet to be known. We have more hot news on the 'Robot' front. Director Shankar has roped in Amitabh Bachchan in to the film. Though Rajini and Amithabh have acted together in Hindi movies, it would be the first time that Big B starring in a Tamil movie. Rajini Gallery Shankar's next science fiction project 'Robot' started rolling amidst much fanfare yesterday. The film's team started shooting the scenes in an air-conditioned room in AVM studio. Director Shankar captured the superstar for the first scene of the film. Many fans of the superstar were very eager to know the start of shooting of 'Robot' and within minutes of the news reaching them many fans of Rajinikanth thronged at AVM Studio to get a glimpse of the superstar. But since the rules of AVM studio restricts the entry for the public the fans had to leave the scene disappointed. This big-budget film sees superstar Rajinikanth and the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan  coming together for the first time ever. The film is directed by one of the most flamboyant directors of the country, Shankar, and the music of A.R. Rahman will grace the film. Let us also inform you that Rajinikanth will soon be shooting for P. Vasu directed 'Kuselan' the tamil version of Malayalam super hit 'Katha Parayumbhol'.
